    Ursula Caruel defends a local and nomadic art where the identity of the landscape and the question of bringing the drawing to life are essential. His creative process involves observing the surrounding vegetation in the places where his installations are presented. Passionate about botany, she studies the growth processes of living things to duplicate their creative nature. In 2020, the DDESSIN Paris fair presents his works within the artists' nursery and his apple tree drawings enter the collections of the Mobilier National. She also creates artists' books with contemporary poets and participates in residencies and workshops supported by the FRAC and the DRAC. In 2021, she joined the artist collective Forest Art Project with botanist Francis Hallé. In 2022, the DRAC Occitanie is supporting its international plant art collection project.
