Symbioses, a unique art sale to preserve the Montagne Noire

The life balance of the Montagne Noire is threatened by a real estate development project on agricultural land, under the pretext of a golf tourist complex.

We are talking about water, soil, the local economy, biodiversity, the food autonomy of this territory, but also the democratic legitimacy of a project with such impacts.

​

Montagne Noire Avenir  brings together inhabitants and actors of the local economy who plan to be able to fight legally against this destructive project. The events we organize allow us to raise funds to finance these legal actions, as well as to raise awareness of the issues that are beyond us in many aspects.

International and local artists have generously donated unique works inspired by life in this territory.

The assembled collection which will be exhibited at the 3.1 Art artists' residence in Saissac is unique in the diversity of artists and works.

You will find sculpted works by Occitan artists exhibited by the communities of our territory, oil paintings of abstract art by a Californian artist sought after by collectors, watercolors illustrating the daily life of the Montagne Noire, engravings , acrylic landscape paintings and fascinating monotypes.
